KMC Employee of the Month

My friend Lynn is the star of the month at Kootenai Medical Center. Today she was surprised with the honor of employee of the month. Joe Morris, CEO presented her a plaque, some gift certificates, a basket of gardening stuff, and other ego boosts. He also read the letter from her co-workers and supervisors lauding her talents and her determination as an extraordinary nurse dedicated to the physical and mental health of her patients. They applauded her mission to help the under-served in Africa, and talked about her fortitude in not only getting supplies to clinics there, but also for paying her own way to go to Zambia in the spring to assist in the clinics birthing babies and helping moms. 

Her grandchildren presented her with a beautiful bouquet of roses and tons of hugs. Her husband and daughter Rachel were standing by with proud tears of joy, and one of her best friends was there to document the moment in photos!

So enjoy your parking spot for a month, Lynn. YOU DESERVE IT! And your family and friends are all so proud of you, not just for this, but who you are on a daily basis in our lives. We love you. I love you!
